Pride In Chippenham wants you!

We’re an organisation run entirely by volunteers – from our board of Trustees to the Stewards on the ground over PrideFest weekend, we’re entirely reliant on the kindness and tirelessness of the amazing people of Chippenham (and the surrounding areas).

We’re always looking for new volunteers to join us, whether that’s in a more permanent position on our friendly committee, or to just lend a hand for a few hours over the PrideFest weekend.

Available positions

Marshalls and Stewards

To manage the crowds during the parade and opening ceremony.

Event Crew

To help set up at the top of the high street for the opening ceremony, which will include some physical work like moving tables and chairs.

Assist our Tech team with setting up the PA system

Running the merch table at the Buttercross

Acting as runners to assist any team that needs more support at a moments notice

Information Desk

Provide general info to the public on the event, as well as provide some specialist help for disabled peoples.

Fundraising

Carrying buckets for collections on the day

Organise fundraising events (in 2025 we had car boot stalls, a 24 hour stich-a-thon, a clothes swap... so we would love to hear your ideas!)

Committee

Commit to supporting Pride In Chippenham year round and get stuck in with anything you fancy, whether that’s organising events, doing admin, or helping out with our social media team. We’d love to have you!

Volunteer with us!

If you’d like to get involved and help make Chippenham Pride a joyful, welcoming event for all, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for friendly volunteers to support with activities such as guiding visitors around our colourful rainbow chalk painting exhibition, marshalling the Pride Parade, and lending a hand with decorating and clean-up on the day.

PrideFest is coming to Chippenham on 13th & 14th June 2026, and this year, it’s all about community, connection, and celebration.

We're inviting local businesses, venues, and groups to be at the heart of PrideFest by hosting your own Pride-themed events — whether it’s a rainbow window display, live music, karaoke, a special Pride menu, creative workshops, or a space for storytelling and support.

As a new committee, we're keeping things community-driven and collaborative — and that’s where you come in. PrideFest is a celebration of local love, inclusivity, and unity, and every small event helps create a big impact.
